Why not make a resolution to help expand the musical horizons of those around you this year? For those of us with friends who are drawn to some of the extremely successful pop punk of recent times, bands like Bacon may be the perfect foot in the door.
These guys in particular have a dynamic delivery and virtually every song bristles with synth-hoisted melodic hooks that will expertly harpoon the involuntary-humming-centers of your brain. This is my favorite song off of their self-titled album of several years ago. Their more recent album “Butterfly” has double its length and number of songs, and a lot more of the same catchy accessible sound and savory name that fans of the genre are almost guaranteed to find appetizing…

Sweet! These guys were my biggest “why haven’t I heard of these guys until now?!” bands of 2007. Consistently great sutff.

I should have posted it sooner then! They are super solid, and I’ve seen more people respond instantly to them than to almost any other Japanese band I’ve played for them. Definitely a keeper.

Yeah, it takes some extra work, but there should be a link above the add to cart button on the far right that says “Translate this page into English”. Maybe this link would work?
If you have too much trouble, they are also selling it on the HMV site here but you may also have to click their “english” option in the top left, and possibly search for it again if it kicks you back to their home page.

actually, yes. little of a salinger fan. Just bought the two cds. I just got raped in the conversation table for yen to dollar, though. 5100 yen for two cds…damn.

Very nice. I appreciate Salinger quite a bit as well—despite (and sometimes [one must occasionally admit] because of) his occasional (or was it frequent) use of lavishly nested parentheticals.
There is a surplus of raping in the import process unfortunately. Someone should start a stateside distro or something, hmm…
